Degrees and Programs Offered:
The Psy.D. and MFT clinical psychology programs at Azusa Pacific University provide comprehensive curriculum and practical experience to equip compassionate, competent practitioners to serve a wide range of clients. Experienced faculty come alongside students, integrating a Christian worldview with a focus on ethics and whole-person care. The Psy.D. is available at APU's main campus in Azusa, and the MFT is available at APU's Azusa, Orange, San Bernardino, and San Diego locations.

Bachelor's or master's in psychology or closely related field, or the following undergraduate courses:
- Introduction to Psychology
- Human Growth and Development (Developmental Psychology course that covers the lifespan)
- Abnormal Psychology
- Theories of Personality
- Introduction to Statistics
